Performance RKP, “Key for education” (for English scroll down) Romane Kale Panthera předvedou performance “Key for education”, která byla vytvořena pro výstavu “Ministerstvo školství varuje: Segregace vážně škodí Vám i lidem ve Vašem okolí! Vol.2 (Ohlédnutí po 10 letech.)” Výstava vznikla v rámci 10 výročí od rosudku, na kterém Evropský soud pro lidská práva ve Štrasburku dala za pravdu osmnácti romským dětem z Ostravy. Soud uznal, že děti neměli rovný prístup ke vzdělání. Výstavu hostila galerie Akademie Výtvarných umění. Pokud se podíváme do historie AVU zjistíme, že od jejího založení (1799) až po současnost, na ní studovali pouze dvě romské studentky a třetí studuje ve druhém ročníku. Podobná situace je i na UMPRUM a FAMU. První romský studenti na Pražských prestižních uměleckých školách začali studovat kolem roku 2007. Tedy jen před 10 lety. Myslím, že tato statistika mluví sama za sebe! Performance RKP poukazuje na to, že romským dětem, není umožněn rovný přístup ke vzdělání obecně. Pokud jsou automaticky, jen kvůli jejich etnicitě a barvy pleti, zařazené do zvláštních či praktických základních škol, nemají šanci se dostat k vyššímu vzdělání. A bez vzdělání a umění není slovo, bez slova člověk nemá právo!
The Roma Black Panthers perform “Key for education”, created for the exhibition “Ministry of Education warns: Segregation seriously harms you and people in your area! Vol.2 (Looking back after 10 years.) ” The exhibition was created as part of the 10th anniversary of European Court of Human Rights resolution in Strasbourg regarding eighteen Roma children from Ostrava, acknowledged that the children did not have equal access to education. The exhibition was hosted by the gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, that since its foundation (1799) to the present day, only two Roma students have studied at the Academy and the third is in the second year. The situation is similar at the other Art and film academies. The RKP performance points out that Roma children are not given equal access to education. They are automatically enrolled in special or practical primary schools because of their ethnicity and skin color, they do not have a chance to get to higher education. Without education, art and Cultural capital their voice are muted, without voice, one has no right! |
